On-Line Performance Evaluation Service

The PETS Metrics On-Line Evaluation Service is a new initiative to automate the performance evaluation process, and to provide to the community an evolving online repository of datasets, metrics and results.

Data Sets

Warning: ftp://ftp.pets.rdg.ac.uk is not listing files correctly on some ftp clients. If you experience problems you can connect to the http server at http://ftp.pets.rdg.ac.uk.

If you are seeking datasets on which to test visual surveillance algorithms, you may wish to consider the PETS data sets (many of which are in the repository ftp://ftp.pets.rdg.ac.uk, use anonymous login). The datasets include the following:

PETS'2006 - Surveillance of public spaces, detection of left luggage events. Details on the dataset specification is available here.
WAMOP-PETS'2005 - Challenging detection/tracking scenes on water. Details on the dataset specification is available here.
PETS-ECCV'2004 - CAVIAR people scenarios. Details on the dataset specification is available here.
VS-PETS'2003 - Outdoor people tracking - football data (two views). Details on the dataset specification is available here.
PETS-ICVS'2003 - Annotation of a smart meeting (annotation available). Includes facial expressions, gaze and gesture/action. Details on the dataset specification is available here.
PETS'2002 - Indoor people tracking (and counting) and hand posture classification data (annotated). Details on the dataset specification is available here.
PETS'2001 - Outdoor people and vehicle tracking (two synchronised views; includes omnidirectional and moving camera) (annotation available). Details on the dataset specification is available here.
